FAQs
Who can apply?
Admission is open to all boys who will adhere to the school ethos, aged 11 to 16 years.
When can I apply?
Applications for September intake can be made from early November of the previous year.
Are the teachers qualified?
All our staff have an enhanced DBS check, and our core subject teachers are experts in their fields.
Is there an entrance exam?
Yes, there is an internally devised Entrance Exam which all pupils will have to sit.
Is there an interview?
If we deem it to be necessary, we will conduct an entry interview with your child.
Do you need reports from primary school?
Yes, we will need satisfactory academic and social reports from your child’s primary school.
How do you support if English is not at the academic standard?
We provide for their needs through increased English provision, developing literacy in all subjects and individual support.
Will you facilitate the special needs for my child?
At present, we regret that we cannot provide facilities for students with special educational needs.
