GCSE Performance

Each year, our students’ achievements in their GCSE examinations are a source of immense pride for the entire school community. The British Muslim School is dedicated to fostering an environment of excellence and perseverance, and the outstanding results of our Class of 2023 are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our students, staff, and parents.

Students at the British Muslim School have much to celebrate as the Class of 2023 received this year’s GCSE results. This cohort of students performed exceptionally well, achieving outstanding results as a testament to their dedication and hard work during Key Stage 4. Their overall performance stands out, especially given the return to the more rigorous, pre-Covid grade boundaries of 2019.
Key ‘headline’ measures for the whole year group include:
  • Percentage of students achieving Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths: 50.0%
  • Percentage of students achieving Grade 5 or above in both English and Maths: 10.0%
  • Percentage of students achieving Grade 4 or above in at least two Sciences: 70.0%
  • Percentage of all results awarded that were Grade 5 or above: 31.25%
  • Percentage of all results awarded that were Grade 4 or above: 70.0%

These impressive results reflect the hard work and perseverance of our students, the support of their families, and the dedication of our teaching staff. We are incredibly proud of all our students and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
