GCSE Performance
Each year, our students’ achievements in their GCSE examinations are a source of immense pride for the entire school community. The British Muslim School is dedicated to fostering an environment of excellence and perseverance, and the results of our Class of 2026 are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our students, staff, and parents.
Students at The British Muslim School have much to celebrate as the Class of 2026 received this year’s GCSE results. Every one of the 87 grades awarded across our six core subjects was a pass, with no ungraded results.
The figures on this page cover core subjects only — English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Science (Double Award), Religious Studies and Citizenship Studies. They are based on provisional results issued in June 2026 and are not whole-cohort DfE performance measures.

- Total entries across the six core subjects: 87
- Pass rate (a graded result, above U): 100.0% — no ungraded results
- Entries at grade 4 or above (standard pass): 74.7%
- Entries at grade 7 or above (top grades): 24.1%
- Average awarded grade: 5.07
- Grade 9 awards: 10 (11% of entries)
- Grade 7–9 awards: 21 (24% of entries)
- Strongest subject: Science (Double Award) — 100% at grade 4 or above, average grade 6.00

English Spoken Language endorsement
Awarded alongside GCSE English Language and reported separately from the 9–1 scale. Of 12 entries: 2 Distinction (17%), 5 Merit (42%), 5 Pass (42%). Every entry achieved at least a Pass.
