At the British Muslim School, we strongly believe that homework is an important part of learning. Homework strengthens the relationship between students, parents and the school/Madrasah.
The aims of homework are to develop independent learning and researching skills. It helps to build upon concept and skills taught in class. Homework helps a teacher to assess a student’s understanding and it builds a regular working pattern. Homework also involves parents in their child’s learning life.
Students will be set regular homework; therefore all parents are encouraged to take part in their children’s learning and offer feed back through the means of regular communications with the school/Madrasah.
