Bullying is a deliberate act done to cause distress solely in order to gain a feeling of power. It can be through verbal, emotional or physical assault. It can be an unresolved single frightening incident which can damage a child’s life.
Bullying of any nature will not be tolerated at the school. The school will support the child who is being bullied and endeavour to help the bully to change their behaviour.
The school have an anti-bullying policy, which is available to all parents. All bullying incidents will be recorded and monitored. Assemblies on anti-bullying with presentations and videos will be delivered frequently to highlight the importance.
