The goal is to help cultivate the students’ interest in education and to progress their development. The candidate shall be responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school

 

Requirements:

  •  Graduated from a reputable and recognised Islamic institution
  • Fluency in English and Bengali/ Urdu and a good grasp of Arabic
  • Qualified as an Alim

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Responsible for the learning and achievement of students in the school ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
  • Responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct
  • Experienced in teaching Hifz and must be enthusiastic and student–centered.
  • The candidate shall also be passionate for the job with an ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and community members as well as with all levels of management.

The British Muslim School is seeking to recruit a passionate and charismatic Imam to provide Islamic teaching, spiritual and moral guidance and leadership to the school Community. The Imaam will also be expected to establish and promote religious and community programmes for adults and young people to enhance the spiritual growth and understanding of Islam.

 

The ideal candidates shall be able to work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external people in the best interests of school.
